Here’s a look at what’s new in this latest release:

Customer led innovation, automation, and efficiency

Automated login managementAutomatic clearing of disconnected logins every 30 minutes is now available in Sage 200 Professional. This reduces user lockouts, cuts support tickets, and helps maintain system stability during busy periods.

Available in: Sage 200 Professional

User role reportsThis Sage 200 Professional enhancement allows administrators to export XML reports showing role-to-feature mappings. This provides clear visibility of user permissions, simplifies audits, and reduces compliance risk caused by manual tracking.

Nominal Journal Function KeysFinance teams can now use keyboard shortcuts for common journal tasks, reducing repetitive clicks and improving speed.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Simplify compliance with read-only user roles Read-only access is now available. Using predefined roles and XML templates, administrators can quickly assign view-only permissions to staff who don’t need editing rights. This improves internal controls, ensures consistent permission structures across teams, and supports stronger audit trails and compliance.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Import/export for Country of Origin – With bulk import/export capability, teams can now refresh Country of Origin data across hundreds of stock records in minutes. That means fewer errors, time savings, and improved compliance for trade and audits.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Import/export for stock items – Procurement teams can now add or update supplier details for multiple stock items at once. This reduces manual entry, minimises errors, and supports efficient management of large inventories.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Security and compliance updates

Opayo field changes – Increasing the Scheme Trace Number field to 6000 characters resolves payment failures, reduces manual reconciliation, and improves reliability of Opayo-integrated environments.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Future-proof architecture with Azure – Sage 200 Standard is transitioning to serverless architecture, improving scalability and reducing infrastructure costs.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard

Updated report designer – The latest iteration of Report Designer brings improved stability, compatibility, and new features, enabling finance teams and partners to build reports confidently and reduce errors.

Available in: Sage 200 Standard, Sage 200 Professional

Removal of Windows 10 as a supported platform – Sage 200 ends support for Windows 10, ensuring customers operate on secure, modern platforms with enhanced performance.

UI colour changes to distinguish ledger type – Colour-coded UI for Sales and Purchase Ledgers helps users quickly identify the correct module, reducing mis-entries and improving confidence in financial data accuracy.
